Spider-Type Ultra-Fine Mist Spray Boom System
Designed for remote-controlled agricultural sprayer vehicles, this spider-type spray boom provides flexible, precise, and highly efficient spraying for orchard and crop protection applications.
The spray boom features 8 flexible spray arms, with 4 arms on each side, radiating outward from the central mounting point like a spider. It is not a single straight boom with multiple nozzles. Each spray arm is independently adjustable and can be bent freely to suit different spraying requirements. Each arm is equipped with one spray nozzle, allowing the operator to easily adjust the nozzle direction and spraying angle.
The standard configuration includes 8 spray arms, while the system can be expanded to up to 12 arms, with 6 arms on each side, for wider and more flexible coverage.
The spray arms have different lengths to create a practical spraying pattern: the upper arm is 70 cm long, while the lower three arms on each side are 50 cm long. The flexible design makes it easy to adapt the spray direction to different plant heights, row structures, and working conditions.
The system uses low-volume, ultra-fine mist spray nozzles designed to provide excellent atomization and uniform spray coverage. With the standard 0.5 mm orifice, each individual nozzle delivers no more than 0.3 L of water during 1 minute of continuous operation at the rated working pressure of 0.5 MPa. This low flow rate helps reduce liquid consumption while maintaining effective spraying performance.
For applications requiring finer atomization, the standard 0.5 mm nozzle can be replaced with the supplied 0.1 mm nozzle. The 0.1 mm nozzle can produce an even finer mist and improve atomization under suitable operating conditions. However, due to its extremely small orifice, it should be selected and used according to the actual spraying requirements and liquid conditions.
The combination of flexible spider-style spray arms and ultra-fine mist nozzles provides excellent spraying performance. The direction of each nozzle can be adjusted independently, helping the spray reach different parts of plants more effectively and improving coverage in orchards and other complex agricultural environments.
This spray boom is particularly suitable for 200 L and 300 L spray tanks on remote-controlled sprayer vehicles. When combined with an electric 26-plunger pump, it provides stable pressure, precise liquid delivery, and excellent atomization, making it an ideal spraying system for remote-controlled orchard sprayers.
