Plunger Pump #26

A plunger pump is a positive-displacement pump designed to deliver liquid at high pressure and stable flow. It is widely used in agricultural sprayers, orchard sprayers, air-blast spraying systems, and other high-pressure liquid delivery applications.

Working Principle

The pump uses reciprocating plungers to draw liquid into the pump chamber and then pressurize and discharge it through the outlet.

As the plunger moves backward, liquid enters through the inlet valve. As it moves forward, the liquid is compressed and pushed out through the outlet valve under high pressure.

Liquid Inlet → Plunger Reciprocation → Pressurization → High-Pressure Outlet

Main Advantages

  • High Pressure: Working pressure of up to 5.0 MPa helps provide effective spray atomization.
  • Stable Flow: Provides a consistent liquid supply to multiple spray nozzles.
  • Strong and Durable: Suitable for demanding agricultural applications and continuous operation.
  • Wide Flow Range: Adjustable flow from 15 to 26 L/min to meet different spraying requirements.
  • Efficient Spraying: Provides sufficient pressure and flow for high-pressure and air-assisted spraying systems.

Specifications

  • Pump Type: High-Pressure Plunger Pump
  • Speed: 600–1,000 RPM
  • Power: 1.5–2.2 kW
  • Pressure: 2.0–5.0 MPa
  • Flow Rate: 15–26 L/min

Applications

Suitable for agricultural sprayers, orchard sprayers, air-blast sprayers, crop protection equipment, pest and disease control, and foliar spraying systems.

For the air-blast spraying system, the plunger pump supplies pressurized liquid to the spray nozzles, while the blower uses high-speed airflow to carry the atomized droplets farther into the crop canopy.
